ANGELIKA’S NOTE

In this musical exploration of college life for the students of a predominantly black college, Spike Lee (DO THE RIGHT THING, MALCOLM X) creates a poignant take on coming of age in the 1980s. Laurence Fishburne (THE MATRIX, MYSTIC POWER) and Giancarlo Esposito (THE USUAL SUSPECTS, DO THE RIGHT THING) offer brilliantly complex performances in this explosive musical comedy. With dynamic music, including EU's hit "Da Butt", and dance numbers choreographed by Otis Sallid (Fame), Lee successfully challenges viewpoints about self-identity and self-esteem in this original, contemporary musical comedy.

SYNOPSIS
