ANGELIKA’S NOTE

Viggo Mortensen (CAPTAIN FANTASTIC, THE LORD OF THE RINGS) makes his directorial debut with FALLING, a San Sebastián International Film Festival Best Film winner, and an Official Selection of the Sundance and Toronto International Film Festivals. Mortensen writes, and stars, alongside an all-star cast including Lance Henriksen, Laura Linney and Hannah Gross. This complex and deeply human film is "a beautifully controlled drama about age, memory and forgiveness" (The Wrap). Variety raves, "Mortensen's patience, his way with actors and his trust in our intelligence are not unlike late-career Eastwood, which isn't a bad place to be so early in one's directing career."

SYNOPSIS

John Peterson lives with his partner Eric and their adopted daughter in Southern California. When he is visited by his aging father Willis from Los Angeles who is searching for a place to retire, their two very different worlds collide.
