ANGELIKA’S NOTE

In this thrilling action-comedy, David O. Russell (AMERICAN HUSTLE, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK) takes audiences on a wartime adventure that will change the lives of all involved. Featuring brilliant performances from George Clooney (MICHAEL CLAYTON, UP IN THE AIR), Mark Wahlberg (THE DEPARTED, THE FIGHTER), and Ice Cube (FRIDAY, BOYZ N THE HOOD), the New York Post calls it, "An original and brilliant combination of comedy, action and sophisticated political comment.”

SYNOPSIS

Greed. Compassion. Heroism. These three seemingly disparate human traits collide explosively in this unconventional, ironic, action-packed adventure. At the end of the Gulf War, a small group of American soldiers plots to steal a huge cache of gold reputedly hidden somewhere near their Iraqi desert base. After finding a map that they believe will lead them to the treasure, the men embark on a treacherous journey filled with unexpected events–a trip that dramatically forces them to confront their fears and flaws, while drastically altering their lives forever.
