ANGELIKA’S NOTE

Dame Judi Dench (SKYFALL, NOTES ON A SCANDAL SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE) stars as Queen Victoria in this lovely period piece about Victoria’s relationship with her servant John Brown, as played by Billy Connolly (BRAVE, THE BOONDOCK SAINTS, THE HOBBIT: BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES). With masterful direction from Academy Award winner John Madden (SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL, PROOF), this Oscar nominee will warm your heart til the end. "Judi Dench's glacial, reserved demeanour contrasts beautifully with Billy Connolly's natural, rebellious exuberance, and their resultant spark of chemistry is undeniable" (BBC).
