ANGELIKA’S NOTE

A romantic love story of the care that people can have for strangers, Kate Winslet (ETERNAK SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND, REVOLUTIONARY ROAD, TITANIC) and Josh Brolin (AVENGERS: ENDGAME, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, INHERENT VICE) star as an abandoned single mother and escaped convict who fall in love over Labor Day weekend, directed by Jason Reitman (GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE, JUNO, THANK YOU FOR SMOKING). Empire Magazine calls the film: "A tender, nostalgic and warm 'family' drama which also quietly seethes with the threat and tension of imminent danger. Labor Day shows a new side to Jason Reitman as a filmmaker, and we like it.”

SYNOPSIS

Depressed single mom Adele and her son Henry offer a wounded, fearsome man a ride. As police search town for the escaped convict, the mother and son gradually learn his true story as their options become increasingly limited.
